Dr. Mahatir Mohammad stated in his speech that they are not here to discuss religion but a state of affairs regarding Muslims in the world. Muslims are in crisis. Most Muslim countries are suffering from war and massive destruction. Citizens of those countries are fleeing their countries and taking shelters in other countries, including non- Muslim countries. Thousands of Muslims have lost their lives during wars, and a majority of Muslim refugees are not allowed to enter other countries.   On the other end, Muslims are committing serious violations, including killing innocent peoples. It is due to their frustration and revenge, whatever they have faced in their homelands. However, it is disrupting their own lives and religious Islam as a whole.

All of this has created a defaming shape of Islam in the whole world. The same has created Islamophobia in the world, which is resulting in more problems for the Muslim emigrants in the world. Islamophobia brought unending wars, failed governments, and other multivariate problems to Muslims. The world has made nothing to rectify this but trying to unworthiness to great religion Islam. That is why; Muslims are in a state of crisis. Here, Muslims are together to address the problems faced by Muslims.

Iranian President Hassan Rohani raised concerns over U.S. dominations to affect other countries’ economic conditions. He urges Muslims countries to build strong cooperation to counter the issue. Muslims countries have to cooperate for the financial and trade sectors. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that still, we have to do much more for the Muslim World. We have to do much more in practical mode rather than meetings. He also criticized OIC for nothing implementation regarding the betterment of the Muslim world. A delegation of Hamas is also attending the summit.

The summit means to see what is going wrong and why it is with the Muslim world. They have to formulate joint strategies to awaken the Islamic world. They decided to take some fruitful action to come out of these catastrophes. If nations destroyed by World Wars can progress, why Muslims cannot improve their conditions? Participants remained focused on enhancing financial and trade cooperation. They opined to trade in gold or another currency rather than the dollar. They signed some minutes of understandings and contracts to promote trade and cooperation in different fields. The summit has gained proper attention in the world.
