On Friday night, Michael Keaton confronted a heckler, but probably not in the way you would expect. The “Birdman” star was enjoying himself at a Pirates vs. Braves baseball game. Keaton is an avid Pirates fan, and that will importune later. While the game was going on, there was a Braves fan seated not too far from Keaton who was heckling Andrew McCutchen the entire time.
McCutchen was able to hit a double to try and get the fan to stop, and then McCutchen also gave the Braves fan his batting gloves as a peace offering. However, when Keaton was about to leave the game, he decided to have a few words with the heckler.
It isn’t clear what was said because no cameras were really on them, but it all seemed peaceful and calm. Then Keaton had his “drop the mic” moment and all he did was point to the scoreboard. The Pirates were winning, and they did win with a final score of 10-8. And then, like Batman, Keaton was gone.
Well, he didn’t magically disappear, but he did leave the stadium. Still, a great moment for a regular Joe to meet Michael Keaton, even if he was hating on the Braves’ fan’s team.
