Minneapolis police may have found their biggest clue in their attempt to locate a missing college girl who vanished Friday night.
On Sunday morning authorities discovered Jennifer Houle’s purse three blocks from a local bar, where she was last seen Friday night.
Authorities then went to Twitter to reveal that that they have made some progress on the missing person’s case. They tweeted, “Purse belonging to Jen Houle was located Friday/3:00 am.”

Police then discovered another part of the puzzle after Houle’s friend, Brooke Laven, interviewed with local station, KSTP-TV, where she told reporters that she had ran into her ex-boyfriend that night, and “that kind of set off some emotions.”
Laven then told reporters, “Her purse and phone were found in the middle of the street near her apartment building, which is a few blocks down from Blarney’s. So a lot of us think she may have tried to walk home from Blarney’s.”
Police have been looking for the missing 22 year old, but no official search has been announced. However, that has not stopped members of Houle’s sorority, Pi Beta Phi, who have been looking for Houle throughout the area, and have been posting fliers.
The sorority took to twitter as well where they said, “We need all the help we can get to find this warm-hearted, beautiful person. If you have any information, please contact us or the Minneapolis police.”
Houle has been studying business at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and is in her senior year. The search for her will continue and the public will be addressed with any further information.
