Moonbin’s record label, Fantagio, revealed on Thursday that the South Korean singer has died at the age of 25. He was a member of the Astro K-pop boy band.
The label released a statement saying, “Members of Astro, as well as fellow artists and staff at Fantagio, are deeply saddened and shocked as we mourn him.”
Mooonbin had a good career as a child actor before making his debut with Astro in 2016. He was set to play in Busan, South Korea, next month with his sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha.
The singer’s corpse was found at his home in Seoul’s Gangnam area, and suicide was suspected. The cops are mute.

Suicide is one of the leading causes of death among South Korean teenagers. The nation has the highest suicide rate among wealthy countries in the OECD.
Following Moonbin’s terrible death, the hashtag “all idols” started trending on Twitter in South Korea.
