It has been a long road and now, well, we are right down to the wire. Opinions have been high and fact checking low, but in the end, people are only concerned with what they see as being good for them. The real question now is how many people can figure out through this tangled mess exactly which candidate is the right choice.
Sunday, Trump began to use the same rhetoric he had been using on the campaign trail, with calls for “draining the swamp of corruption in Washington” and fixing a “rigged system in which political insiders can break the law without consequence.”
He goes on to mention Clinton as having “been the subject of an FBI criminal investigation.” Trump conspicuously leaves out the fact that Sunday the FBI director came forward to announce that Clinton was again cleared of wrongdoing.
Trump’s obsession with Hillary’s Emails and the accusations of corruption that he paints with are not a result of Trump’s actual care about whether she did wrong or not, as it is more than likely he would do the very same thing if he was in her position. No, it’s about just getting potential voters to fear the rationale of voting for as he calls her “crooked Hillary”.
The fact is Trump really doesn’t care much for any of the things he says he supports in his campaign. How can you be sure you ask? Well its simple, Trump spent his entire life as a businessman, he doesn’t care about job creation, and for that matter why would he? He is not a philanthropist, he cares about creating wealth and power. Which is great for him and people can say whatever they want about him in this respect but he is practicing capitalism.
That is the point people, America is not a country where we like to extend ourselves past what our own desires are. For some, that means good will and all, but for most, it means accomplishing financial security and if possible wealth. It’s a country founded on the principle that an individual is responsible for himself outside special circumstances. So why in the world would Trump be outside this? His only care about you is that you vote him into office. Good luck America.
