When it comes to wardrobes, women are extremely serious about the clothing they place in their closets. Hours of shopping and thousands of dollars are the two things women give up in hopes of having the perfect wardrobe. There are a few pertinent items, however, that women occasionally overlook. Double check to make sure you have these six oddball items in your closet. If you don’t it may just be time for a shopping spree (like any girl needs an excuse for that).
1) Rain Boots
While boots may not seem like a must-have, you’d be surprised on how often it rains. Don’t ruin your nice boots by chancing it in rainy weather. Purchase a pair of Hunters or Bean Boots, and watch as your feet miraculously repel the rain.
2) Plain Black V-Neck
Many people overlook such a simple, and mundane piece of clothing that is the plain black V-neck. However, this particular shirt will go with almost all of your cardigans, and you can wear it more than once a week. The versatility of such a plain shirt enables maximum wears, without any repeat clothing jokes.
3) Lace Bralette
You’d be surprised at how much you’ll wear this lacey bra. From t-shirts to sweaters this racer back bralette is way more comfortable than a bra, and a lot more versatile. Show off it’s lacey perfectness with an open back shirt, or wear it with your favorite Free People oversized sweater for maximum comfort.
4) Backless Bra
Whether it’s a work event or a college date function, backless bras are a must. If you want perky boobs while wearing an open back dress you better buy a stick-on bra.
5) Colored Jeans
Colored jeans allow you to wear certain shirts in your wardrobe more than once. Wear your favorite plain white sweater with your maroon jeans and your plain dark wash skinny jeans. Colored pants can dress up an entire outfit, and although you may not think your wardrobe needs them, you’ll be a lot happier when you finally pick up a pair from Bloomingdales.
6) Tights
Tights are definitely a must-have. Wear them with your black skater skirt, your t-shirt dress and just about anything else. They look great with black booties, and heels alike. Buy them patterned or plain, which ever you choose you won’t regret it.
