“Do you realize making it difficult for the refugees (to integrate in Denmark) is making a good business for the smugglers?” is one of the questions asked by journalist Daham Alasaad. Information has made a Youtube film with several questions asked by Syrian journalists about some of the issues caused by having the refugees stay in asylums and not letting them work nor integrate. The reason for this action lies in the dominated politics reigning in Denmark after the last election put one of the most xenophobic parties in the top three rulers in the country. Danish politician Inger Støjberg is the most discussed person in this matter as she has been acting unsympathetically toward the refugee problem.
“There is a perception out there that you (Inger Støjberg) and this Government has been putting out that a lot of these refugees will come into this country are driven by the social benefits they can get from the system. But all the experts and refugee cases that I have spoken to have a contradictory opinion: People are not driven by benefits but they just want to work and contribute to your society and use their skills. What do you have to say to that?” Syrian journalist Zach Khadudu asks in the video.
The fact that these refugees are willing and ready to integrate and establish a life in a new country is admirable in itself, but that they have the strength and gumption to stand up for themselves when being unfairly rejected is even more of an accomplishment.

If Trump gets the ‘throne’ of the presidency, he stated at a conference in New Hampshire, September 30 that he will be exiling all Syrian refugees that have fled to America.
“They’re going back,” were his exact words. This xenophobic and misguided patriotic way of viewing the refugees is a global issue. These people were forced to flee their own country, something many of us will never be able to imagine. The desire to contribute to another country immediately after arriving is something we could all learn from. They’re aren’t just sitting around not taking initiative; they’re trying to integrate and make the best of a, to put it mildly, bad situation.
Information is dedicating the voice of the newspaper to the refugees after Ms. Støjberg’s ‘silent treatment’, as Syrians have been trying to get her to talk for nearly 10 days (at the moment) and she has yet to answer.
