Car crashes can result in what seems to be a domino affect. All it takes is one car to cause an accident and before you know it multiple vehicles start piling up.
That is exactly what happened on January 2, when 35 cars were piled into two different wrecks. The cause of the accidents was because a massive amount of snow moved onto the roads at about 9:45 early Friday morning resulting in drivers being temporarily blinded, while driving on I-93 in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
One of the accidents sparked when a car crashed underneath a tractor trailer, getting itself wedged making it impossible to escape, this then caused following cars unable move in time.
Several people were injured in the accidents, but it appears that no life threatening injuries were sustained. The accident seen looks chaotic, but officials have closed down the roads, and are attempting to clear the icy roads from the vehicles involved.
