After a number of DUI’s, court cases, jail bails and even shoplifting, Amanda Bynes has been committed at, Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California. The troubled star was admitted involuntarily on an emergency psychiatric hold Friday.
Bynes, 28, who often takes to twitter to let out some steam has recently posted several outlandish comments, forcing fans and care physicians to question her mental health. After she posted several comments about her father who she accused of abusing her as a child, quickly took back the claims and tweeted:

Bynes boarded a play from New York to Los Angeles where she reported that she was going to file a lawsuit against her parents as well as the media that has published false statements about her over the past year. Bynes threatened both InTouch and Star Magazine with lawsuits.

Upon landing in Los Angeles, Bynes was told that she was being taken to a layers office but instead she was taken to Las Encinas Hospital, which look similar to an office building.
Via CNN, Dr. Carole Lieberman stated, “In a perfect world, one would be honest about getting a person into a psychiatric hospital, but from her past behavior we have seen that Amanda Bynes avoids psychiatric hospitals at all cost because she doesn’t believe that she’s sick.”
Bynes has a hearing this week to determine if her 72-hour lock down should be extended. Doctors will make a case against her claiming that she may be a danger to herself or others if she does not volunteer to stay on her own account.
