Something nightmare-ish is happening in Wasco, California. Since October 1, Clowns are roaming the streets at night… and no one knows why.

Typically, a fun and humorous character of the circus, clowns are more often feared than loved. The big red ball-like noses, the painted faces, colorful and fro like hair, even the polka dot or striped onsies, screams creature of nightmares.
Though Wasco, California seems to be taking it in stride. The clown, who posts his location each night on Twitter, has made it a game for citizens of the small town. Some who take to the streets, search for him in cars, as well as take selies.
Police have reported that there have been no violent actions taken by the clowns and that they merely wander the streets at night. Some speculate that it is publicity for the hit horror show “American Horror Story,” though others see it as good… creepy Halloween fun.
