Specialists now believe that the next stop on its journey is the U.S. Because the storm is also set to come to the coast of Florida, some people should also consider leaving their homes. About 2 million people living on the coast of Florida are being advised that they should leave their homes. The evacuation also affects people in Georgia and South Carolina. The matter has gotten so serious that even the President is getting involved. President Barack Obama has also issued a State of Emergency for the people of Florida and is asking for federal aid for them.
People are expecting the hurricane to hit the United States as a Category 4 storm. CNN is also stating that an around 113 people have already died from the storm. 108 of the deaths took place in Haiti. It is expected to hit the United States sometime on Thursday night of Friday. Residents of Florida and other areas that can be affected are clearing out grocery stores for supplies. Others who haven’t made preparations are also being told to get ready as well.
