A brawl broke out after a bride decided to dump the groom and marry a guest in attendance. The husband to be, Jugal Kishore an Indian man from Moradabad, suffered from a seizure during his ceremony where he was set to marry Indira a 23 year old from Rampur.
The Times of India reported that, Kishore reached out his arms to his bride, but fell down into an epileptic state. Indira was upset because her family was unaware of the groom-to-be’s medical condition, so in response to the events she told those in attendance that she would marry a guest instead.
The guest who she choose, was dressed in jeans and a leather jacket. He was hesitate at first, but then decided to honor the bride’s request to marry her, so that the ceremony could conclude.
In the middle of all this, Kishore was being treated by a doctor nearby and returned to the wedding thinking that he would be able to finish the ceremony himself. He begged Indira to change her mind, but the newly wedded bride did not budge.
The decision to not wed Kishore then led into a brawl at the ceremony an incident where spoons, plates, and dishes were used as weapons.
Milak police officer RP Solanksi spoke to the Times of India and stated that while authorities intervened and detained several people, Kishore’s family filed a police report, but has decided to withdraw their request after they resolved the matter with Indira’s family.
