With Nintendo’s new console debuting in March 2017, Nintendo wants to ensure launch success by promising a few video game titles.
Back in April, Nintendo delighted fans with the confirmed launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In June, Nintendo released a sneak peak of its new Zelda game during E3.
In addition, Nintendo will release new Mario and Pokémon games within the first six months of Nintendo’s NX launch. Major details are yet to be disclosed about these two titles. Nintendo is hoping that its potential Mario game will be more successful than the one that debuted on the WiiU (New Super Mario Bros. U).
Fans speculate that the new Pokémon game will be the NX version of Pokémon Sun and Moon. Others speculate that it might be a whole different game. It’s hard to say with the anticipated game coming out less than a year after Sun and Moon.
Third party developers are working on Nintendo’s new video game titles. Activision, Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros are busy working on the new games.
News on the new gaming console has also been released. Sources report that the new gaming console can be played at home or outside. The NX can connect to your TV at home and features a removable controller that can be played outside your home.
The NX graphics, on the other hand, are not as remarkable. The graphics for NX will be between the quality of a PS3 and a PS4. That’s similar to the current WiiU graphics. Nintendo understands the importance of a powerful system for core gamers, that’s why Nintendo is planning to market its new console to a broader audience, an audience between smartphone and console gamers.
Nintendo was never a competitor when it came to its systems, but we can anticipate quality game-play by next year.
