Obama Criticizes Supreme Court for Considering HealthCare Case

“This is now part of the fabric of how we care for one another,” President Barack Obama declared Tuesday, referring to his most contended and controversial proposal as president, Obamacare.

Obamacare, since its genesis in 2013, has contributed to a whopping 14.75 million American citizens obtaining healthcare coverage, but has continued to stay under legal attack by Congress and the Supreme Court alike, with a decreasing percentage of citizens siding with the president on the matter.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell characterized the president’s speech as, “Jousting with reality again.” As the President brazenly stood by his principles and candidly addressed Obamacare being argued over in the supreme court, he stated, “Frankly, it probably shouldn’t even have been taken up.”

Obama’s speech was held at the annual Catholic Health Association Conference in Washington, D.C. where just a few blocks away the Supreme Court will rule on whether or not residents can buy insurance through a federally run marketplace.

If the court rules against the President, Obama was quoted in his speech saying that, “It would be up to the Republican-controlled congress to fix the law.”

Furthermore, the second ranking democrat in the house, Rep. Steny Hoyer, added, “Republicans will find themselves in a situation akin to a dog chasing down a car. They keep barking at the car and if they catch it, they’re not going to know what to do with it.”
