Starting Fresh With New Basics

There will always be a list of basics that every fashionista must stock up on in order for her wardrobe to be complete. Eventually this list of basics can become like an old song. Nice to listen to but just played out.

The list of basics just does not match up to the breath of fresh air that new items bring on the market. After a while there is just no more life left in a basic item. So what is left to do is to bring in a whole new army of fresh basics. Start with plain t-shirts and work your way up. This will undoubtedly be a lengthy process because building a wardrobe is a lengthy process. But be patient, your wardrobe will be complete one day.

On the way to building a complete wardrobe you may discover some new items that you want to add to your collection. Make sure that these items can fit in with the basic crowd. Meaning that they can make sense in your wardrobe. Otherwise there will be an odd item out and that item will end up in the back of the closet, never to be seen again.

To refresh your wardrobe try looking out for new items that could be classified as basics. Like a maxi dress or a black blazer. Basics do not have to be just tank tops, leggings, jeans, and tee shirts. Expand your wardrobe into new territory.

This fall new wardrobe basics have been rising to the surface. The new basics have yet to prove that they are here to stay but are quickly landing in basic territory. There are some that until now would have never been considered basic apparel. One, is the maxi dress. This is such a versatile piece that there should be one in every woman’s closet. Pair with boots and a faux fur jacket for fall to achieve a glamorous bohemian look. Second, is the boyfriend jean. Many fashionistas have claimed this item as their new go to denim for every season. Pair with heels and a tucked in blouse for a boy meets girl look. Third, is the kimono. Pair with combat boots and jeans for a girly grunge look.
