Fresh Prince fans all know, “It’s Not Unusual,” to love Alfonso Ribeiro or his trademark moves, formally known as the Carlton Dance.

Fans of, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” have anxiously watched the hit show, “Dancing With the Stars” to see if Ribeiro, and partner, Whitney Carson, would do it, and on Monday night, they did. There’s just something about that dance that brings us all back to a 90s loving time, where we could all join in and sing along with Tom Jones, shake our arms and wiggle our hips.

Ribeiro stated in an interview, “I love the Carlton dance now. I love how it makes people feel,” Ribeiro said. “I certainly don’t do it a lot, but I love the fact that people have this nostalgic look at that dance.”

Starring along side actor, Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro was welcomed into viewers homes among many of the heartfelt 90s sitcoms of the day. Though, Ribeiro had something else to offer fans other than just a few laughs.

“I gotta be honest. This was all for the fans,” Ribeiro said afterward. “I’ve been wanting to do this for them forever. This is a moment I’ve dreamed about many a (year). But yeah, I went back. I went back in time.”
