Amanda Brewer from N.J., is one lucky photographer, or woman, depending on how you look at it. While the Elementary school teacher was volunteering in Africa she snapped, what looks, like a once in a lifetime photograph.
She was working as an intern for an animal conservations group this summer. Using her GoPro camera’s burst setting, she snapped a photo “Jaws” would be jealous of.
A shark face in motion, catapulting out of the water; Jaw wide open, ready to snap at a fish. By the looks of it, Amanda could easily have been next, on the menu.
Brewer credits the making of this photo towards a stroke of, “pure luck.” Saying she wasn’t scared of this close encounter with the, ‘Carcharodon carcharias,’ that this, “photograph was just one of about thirty taken that day, in Mossel Bay.”
