People all over the United States have been looking at the government and awaiting a decision to be made on the open seat on the Supreme Court to be taken. While many politicians and other officials have their opinion, a notable figure has made his own prediction, CNN reports that Tim Kaine has a prediction on what will happen in regards to the Supreme Court. This news has many people curious as to what the man has predicted for the court.
The news of Kaine’s predictions came about on Friday evening. CNN is stating that the nominee for Vice President is predicting that the Senate will vote to change Senate rules replacement of the judge if the republicans continue to block the nomination. CNN is reporting that Kaine said the following:
” I am a US senator. I have a prediction–this is not a guarantee– and I’m not revealing inside intel. I was in the Senate when the Republicans’ stonewalling around appointments caused the Senate Democratic majority to switch the vote threshold on appointments from 60 to 51. And we did it on everything but a Supreme court justice.”
Little to no information has been given on the state of the US and when a decision will be made regarding the choice of a judge. Earlier this year, president Obama announced his nomination, but it was met with much backlash and trepidation.
The Supreme Court and judicial system in the US government needs to be a prominent concern and those who are able to fix the problem need to do so as quick as possible. As the decision gets closer and closer, it will be interesting to see if Kaine’s predictions come true.
