Sometimes we really rag on modern technology, how it’s corrupting our youth, making us look down instead of around and not to mention the cost. But technology also has it’s pluses. Sgt. John Vorrath who was deployed for the Middle East was able to watch the birth of his daughter, Charlotte via FaceTime.
While he was virtually there in the delivery room, his commander slipped him a note stating that his request for leave had been granted. 22 hours later, he knocked on the hospital room door and surprised his family who hadn’t seen him in months.
